Bellatrix frighten Daphne when she spoke to her, which made her gasp from the shock of her answering her. “I…” she stammered out and then she tried again. “He…” Daphne couldn’t seem to force a sentence out for anything. Finally, she was able to muster out “I woke up and he was gone. I felt him get out of bed this morning, but it was as if he was going to work and…” she stopped as sadness filled her eyes and tears spilled down her cheeks. “There is nothing here of his. It’s as if he was a figment of my imagination.” Why would he leave her like that? It didn’t make sense at all.
“So…” she stammered out “I went to Pansy and Draco’s room, it’s the same. Everything is gone and…” she was going to say she was stuck her alone, but she wasn’t. The Lestrange’s were there and her sister had appeared, but Daphne would much rather have Theo.
Daphne wiped at her face again in frustration. “I…” she sighed, “I can’t be here without him. Theo was my love, and we were sup….” she shuttered a breath and inhaled sharply. “I need a drink,” she muttered and let out a long sigh.
