Barbara held the door open for Maddie to exit before she did. It was chilly outside and she was glad for the scarf, and made a note to next time to put on another layer before going out. Winter in Canada meant it was colder than back in Gotham.
"I have a couple of options at this point," she admitted. "And given the situation I'm going to be doing it in the next couple of days to a week."
She glanced over at the other young woman who seemed to be - from her body language not entirle comfortable with the situation. She looked slightly tense and Barbara knew that maybe ice cream couldn't cure that, but she'd try to make up for it with conversation. "I'm glad you agreed to come," she smiled, trying to do something of a more casual approach maybe make her a bit more comfortable. "You really can't go out for ice cream by yourself. It's just..." she shook her head. "it just doesn't work."
