Who: Peter Petrelli, Angela Petrelli, Elle Bishop, Noah Gray What: Angela's here and Peter is a mama's boy, they need to be reunited, plus, Elle needs to get Noah, and it would be more awkward than normal if it all happened at once, so naturally it is. When: Tuesday October 22, 2008, evening Where: Town Square Open: Yes! just let Pete and his momma talk a little first
Peter was having fun, as weird as that sounded, playing Uncle Peter for the past couple of days. He had spent so long trying to push everyone and everything away from him, that it brought a whole different perspective to him, caring for such a small child, who was entirely dependent upon him. Though Noah asked him many questions he couldn't answer, specifically pertaining to when his mommy and daddy would be back, they were getting along rather well, despite the fact that Peter didn't take the best care of himself. Caring for others, being selfless, well that was something that came naturally to him. His mother would be proud. Of course this wasn't his child, so she'd probably scold him for being so stupid as to get into other people's problems...again.
Peter had enough problems, namely, falling in love with Claire. Their chemistry had been undeniable from the moment they had met, though neither of them thought anything would happen between them, until it just did. It wasn't preplanned, though they both knew they loved each other, there was a high probability that it would never work out. If they let what other people said got to them, which it would to her, or at least he figured it would. But he was conveniently avoiding that issue by toting Noah out for some ice cream. Since making sure Claire was alright the night before, they hadn't left the apartment. Noah was growing restless, as was Peter, so when Noah suggested ice cream, despite the fact that it was very near to Noah's bedtime as well as the fact that it was cold outside, Peter agreed. He had a feeling, anyway, that Elle would be showing up soon and he wouldn't get much more time to be with his "nephew" anyway.
After they had gotten their coats on, Peter and Noah walked hand in hand down the sidewalks until they got to the town square, where Peter stopped dead in his tracks. Noah was tugging at his hands asking him to please hurry up, he wanted some ice cream, but Peter was standing there wide eyed. "Mom?" Peter said with an uncertain gasp. "Mama?" He felt like a little kid all over again, startled and amazed that his mother was no more than fifty feet in front of him, alive, not dead as he knew her to be. Alive and well.
