Pansy had to admit to herself that she quite enjoyed his reaction. "It is not as if I invited him out. I was looking at a newspaper and he noticed my necklace and made himself at home." She sipped he coffee, trying to hide the smile that was tugging at her lips. She had to admit, he was adorable when he was brooding. "And give me credit for having a bit more class than that."
She reached over and put her hand on his arm, gently stroking it with her thumb. It was a definite sign of affection, clearly trying to show him that she was still on his side, and even though the words were not spoken, there wouldn't be anyone else, at least while they were here. She wasn't sure if she would ever speak those words, truthfully.
