Why: Noah wants to know how Nathan is coping.

Rating: To be safe, PG-13 to R.
He'd been worried about Nathan since he saw him in the park and broke the news to him. He really hadn't wanted to tell him, but his gut had told him it was the right thing to do, and that's what Noah needed; to do the right thing. Hurting others may not be right in some people's books, but Noah believed that after hurting, the healing could begin, and that's what Nathan needed now. He needed to take a step back, observe everything and reassess life, much like Noah had to do.
Settling down in bed after cracking the bedroom window (he'd convinced himself it wasn't for Nathan, but for some circulation in the room...) and picking up a book, he really wasn't paying attention to the words as his mind kept replaying the recent events in his life up until he'd arrived here. The Company, Claire's ability, his family, everything had him so wrapped up. And then to find his future daughter here; someone so cold and different than he knew her. He wondered what all went wrong to make Claire like that, if it was him and if he could fix it. All he knew was that when he got out of here, he didn't know if he could ever look at his little girl the same again; not as Nathan Petrelli's daughter, but as Adam Monroe's. It broke his heart and he knew his and Claire's relationship would never be the same.
Sighing, he closed the book and set it aside, taking a sip of his scotch on the rocks he'd taken into the bedroom with him and took his glasses off, pinching the bridge of his nose. He could feel a stress headache beginning to set in. He didn't want to deal with the drama and he wanted to go home to his family. He wanted his friend to get back on his feet, to know that he wasn't nothing because he'd been used; Noah knew what it was like to be used by a Petrelli, too.
