It had been a long time since Sam had actually gone shopping like a regular guy. He and Dean so often ended up "shopping" in an AM/PM or 7-11 type store, some more...seedy than others depending on what small town they happened upon. So the idea that he was grocery shopping like a normal guy felt fucking weird to him. And yet, strangely comforting in a way too.
He was checking out the selection of cereals when a cart rammed him in the ankles and thighs. His hand went for the knife hidden deep in the inside pocket of his jacket as he turned his head, reay to fight. He saw an attractive women there who seemed to be well...shopping.
She spoke and he smiled. "No, no, it's okay. I shouldn't have been standing in the way," he said flashing her an embarrassed, dimpled smile.
