He pulled her arm closer in. "There is a lot to be said for dating an older woman," he said with a familiar smirk that she knew so well. That look was second nature to him. His eyes held hers but then looked up, this time paying more attention to where he was going. He also hadn't liked being younger, especially when she would remind him. He could joke about it now.
"I did see my uncle in the journals. He is younger. That will take some getting used to. He doesn't really know about the war," he continued, still thinking that could work to his benefit. "I haven't seen Daphne and Theo yet. At least we have some friends here." He was relieved that there were some of their own kind. He would gladly give up his roommates for more witches and wizards. "Who are you living with and where are you living?"
