Who: Alice Cullen and OTA What being freaked out When: September 15th, night time Where: the main strip in London Rating: PG?
When Alice woke up that morning, she was more freaked than she could have possibly imagined ever being in her entire existence. Because she had woken up, which implied she had been asleep. And vampires didn't sleep. It was a rule, it was a fact, it didn't happen. Ever. And Jasper wasn't in this unfamiliar room. Her mind raced with what could be going on - experimentation - the Volturi. And the sun was so bright, already, with the curtains opened up like they were. Her skin was already shimmering, so she quickly closed the curtains, even though she didn't want to. She tried using her cellphone to call Jasper, then to call Edward, and then Carlisle. But her cellphone kept saying it was out of service. Just her luck. And there was no phone in her room. After some deliberation, she ventured out into the rest of the place she was in. It was an apartment of sorts, and hers was the only room that wasn't empty. The dining room and the living room still had things, but not the other bedrooms. She was completely alone. So much for the Volturi theory.
She waited rather impatiently until after sunset to leave the apartment. Precautions were always better, espeically in an unfamiliar place, one where she didn't even know how she got there. As she walked further and further into town, the more her head began to hurt. She couldn't see anything - well anyone's future, which scared her more than it should have. She didn't like it when the few steady things in her life were throw out of whack. If only Jasper where there, maybe she would have been better about this. She sighed and picked up a newspaper. She read the headlines, something about Ontario. So she was in Canada, which was why her cellphone was out of service. She let out a long slow sigh, and just stared at the newspaper, not budging.
