"Not more than I missed her!" Donna said, grinning as she followed him inside. Oh, how she'd longed to see this bigger-on-the-inside box again! It felt like forever since she'd last seen the coral and the lights. Just being inside made her feel better. She didn't need to pretend to be at home here because this was home, as far as she was concerned.
And even if the TARDIS wouldn't fly and they were still stuck here, she could take comfort in the fact that she'd be safe. Safe in the best means of transportation she'd ever known and safe with her best mate in the entire universe.
"So, people have been disappearing," she said as they neared her room. She crossed in front of him to get the door. He was carrying her bags, so it was the least she could do. "One girl's husband up and vanished, and my boss, he's gone, too. I wonder if that means I'll be out of a job now. I hope not. Then again, what do I need a job for now I'm staying here?"
