Seb's eyes went wide. "Wait a second, Jacob you kept telling me to push it, not to take things on her time. And now you're telling me to slow down?" He licked his lips and gave him a small smile. "Here's the thing, Jacob, she's expressed a strong desire to share her life with me for a long time. While we haven't exactly talked about marriage as an immediate thing, it's not like this is the biggest stretch."
He frowned. "I'm not pushing her into anything. If she says no, I'm not going to push her away." He didn't know what to say about Jacob wanting to talk to her. He wanted it to be a surprise, and if Jacob brought it up, she would know it was coming.
"I was kind of hoping that this would be a surprise for her. So if you do talk to her just don't say I'm going to do it." He shrugged, at least he had tried. "You can talk to her, and make up your mind from there." I'm still going to propose to her.
