Weekly Promotion Challenge: Being Human (Television Show)
Welcome to the nineteenth Weekly Fandom Promotion Challenge.
For the next seven days, we are hosting a drabble-a-thon where each entry is based around the chosen fandom. You will be given a set of seven daily prompts tailored to that fandom so you can write at least a 100 word drabble. There is no word limit, so by all means, go over if you like. Next Monday, we will start over with a new fandom.
Fandom Name: Being Human (Television Show) Fandom Level: General
Pairing: Anyone/Anyone
A Brief Description: What do a Ghost, a Werewolf, and a Vampire all have in common? A flatshare in Bristol where they are just trying to live normal liv...unlives? Three average people, with beyond average backgrounds, come together and just try to live what they believe to be the normal life. Can it work? Does it work? What the bloody hell were they thinking? Conceived to be a comedy, it started out a little dark. Their natures prove to be their greatest obstacle, but not by their own hand. It's hard to live for the future when your past keeps getting in the way.
Monday - Blood on the carpet, who's to blame? Mood: Feeding Time.
Tuesday - George is not always such an animal. Still, he has his moments. Fleas? Mood: Giggle Fit.
Wednesday - Annie got her revenge. What do you think she told him? Mood: Spooked!
Thursday - John is not always a blood sucker. He quite prefers it in a cup. Mood: Fancy.
Friday - John's given George's other half a nickname 'Curiosity'. Meow! Mood: Snack.
Saturday - Someone's come hunting for one of the characters. Be they those douches from the Sci-Fi channel for Annie, a big game hunter for George, or a vamp with a Buffy fetish for John. Mood: Scared Shitless.
Sunday - Who left the open blood back on the counter? Mood: Crack.
Reward: All participants get this lovely Being Human 'A Boy...And His Dog' icon.
Jerry's Final Thought: This show seems to offer a wide variety of musings that speak well of their creators and actors. Where it will be heading in the second series, one can only imagine. Hopefully, it will turn out to be as brilliant and entertaining as it has been so far.
