Weekly Promotion Challenge: Golden Girls (Television Series)
Welcome to the fourteenth Weekly Fandom Promotion Challenge.

For the next seven days, we are hosting a drabble-a-thon where each entry is based around the chosen fandom. You will be given a set of seven daily prompts tailored to that fandom so you can write at least a 100 word drabble. There is no word limit, so by all means, go over if you like. A Brief Description: Thank you for being a friend. Four women from various backgrounds came together in Miami to live in one house. Past what is considered their prime, life isn't easy and they've had their fair share of hardships. Three of them are widows, and the forth was left by her husband of thirty-eight years for a stewardess less than half his age. In spite of the physical complications of growing older, they found love and laughter over seven seasons; three of them in the spin-off too. Their coming together made it possible for such female genre shows. Blanche (The Slut), Dorothy (The Homebody), Rose (The Naive One), and Sophia (The Spicy Mother).

Daily Prompts:

Monday - Four different people in the same house, there is bound to be bad blood. Mood: Feud.

Tuesday - Rose tells of St. Olaf to the point of monotony. Mood: Bored To Death.

Wednesday - Blanche is not the young woman she used to be. Sexual misadventure. Mood: In Pain.

Thursday - Dorothy is not always happy, but she's satisfied with who she is. Mood: Reflective.

Friday - Sophia makes up for what she lacks or lost with lots of spunk. Mood: Practical Joker.

Saturday - It was never said what Dorothy was doing before she met Blanche. Mood: Fateful Decision.

Sunday - They eventually said good bye. Give them a good moment to go out on. Mood: Bittersweet Memories.

Reward: All participants get this lovely Golden Girls 'The Last Supper' icon.

Jerry's Final Thought: Blanche, Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia were close loved ones to many people, real and imaginary. People across the world grew to love them and still cherish the memories made watching this show. While time has taken one of them away, we are still reminded of the laughter and tears shed every time we see the women today.
