Weekly Promotion Challenge: Discworld (Book Series)
Welcome to the seventh Weekly Fandom Promotion Challenge.
For the next seven days, we are hosting a drabble-a-thon where each entry is based around the chosen fandom. You will be given a set of seven daily prompts tailored to that fandom so you can write at least a 100 word drabble. There is no word limit, so by all means, go over if you like. Next Monday, we will start over with a new fandom.
Fandom Name: Discworld (Book Series)
Fandom Level: General
Pairing: Any.
A Brief Description: The Discworld lies on the back of four elephants who in turn stand on the back of a giant, spacefaring turtle. The novels set on Discworld concern hundreds of characters, many appearing in several novels, who have to deal with a world where magic is more common than science, and echoes from other world sometimes lead to fads such as the Holy Wood moving picture industry, the invention of a crossdimentional magical computer, and unlawful kings so often seeing visions of daggers before them. It's a parody series that aspires beyond that to reveal human nature as well as the cliches of fantasy fiction.

Daily Prompts:
Monday - Run, Rincewind, Run....in to trouble. Mood: Agitation.
Tuesday - The World is a giant turtle? Seriously? Mood: Disbelief.
Wednesday - Death and Susan discuss the family business. Mood: Pure Madness.
Thursday - It's magic versus science. Who has the properties of lead? Who kisses the toad? Mood: Ka-boom!
Friday - Nanny Ogg's Cookbook is a smash, as in your head against the table. Share your favorite recipe, musing, rule of etiquette and why. Mood: Forgetful? Doubtful!
Saturday - Journey with us, if you will, to a place without sight or sound. Where creatures of unknown origin and deep seeded darkness tend to dwell. You are in, of course, the Dungeon Dimensions. Mood: Oooweeeooo *Glass Breaking*!
Sunday - The series goes on and on, seemingly without end. End Discworld! Mood: Apocalyptic.
Reward: All participants get this lovely 'Map Of The Discworld' icon.
Jerry's Final Thought: Madness. Sheer and utter mind-numbing madness. Don't forget to bring your extra-strength umbrella, I'm sure those cats and dogs from the sky might hurt. It seems anything can happen, and probably will.
If you have stories about this week's theme, feel free to share with us. All stories should be posted to the asylum, not as a reply to this post. Just think of this post as a notice on a bulletin board.
