(RING)
"So this is it." He couldn't say he was surprised. All the signs had been there for a while. Still, it felt like a kick in the gut to have the confirmation. "It's pretty."
Reaching over Felix's body, Lee snatched the box from his lover's hands. Closing it, he set it back on the night stand. That done, he bent over to finish tying his boots. "You knew what this was from the start."
"You're right, I know what this is." Rolling on his side, Felix rest his head upon his hand. "I also know why you're doing this. The question is, do you?"
"Of course I do." Annoyed at having been questioned, Lee stood up. Tugging on his shirt, he quickly tucked the tails inside his pants. A quick snap and the button was in place, followed by the zipper. The belt was the last thing to be done up.
He watched Lee walk over to the vanity and check his appearance in the mirror. Felix used to love watching him do that, thinking of the ways to ruin his perfect image. For instance, he knew Lee had this spot on the back of his right upper thigh, just below his butt. When he pushed on it, Lee's entire leg would kick out.
"I hope she realizes what her new role will be." Sitting up on the bed, he crossed his legs. "The call for a good brood mare is limited these days."
Lee glared at him in the mirror. Fixing his hair, he checked to make sure there wasn't a spike out of place. "Don't show your face at the ceremony or afterwards. I don't want this day ruined."
"Too late." Still, Felix wasn't that petty. Besides, the embarrassment wouldn't be worth it. "Have a good time."
Giving him another glare, Lee buttoned up his tuxedo jacket. "Remember, wait an hour before coming out. The rest of the guys should have left for the flight deck by then."
"Don't worry, I won't forget." Not like he could, Lee had been drilling him on it every fifteen minutes.
With a sigh, Lee turned to give Felix one last look. Shaking his head, he turned and headed for the hatch. He didn't look back once he was heading through the door.
That was okay. Had he, Felix might have felt guilty enough to tell him there was a cum stain on the back of his pants from where he had sat in it.
