REMEDIUM

The scent of earth fills your lungs and all you can hear is a dull ringing that pierces your already throbbing head. You’re in pain, and you feel weary as if you haven’t slept in days. When you open your eyes you find yourself on the ground surrounded by overgrown greenery and trees shading you from the beating sun overhead.

Once you sit up, you notice a small journal with a pen set neatly before you, as if placed there by whatever or whoever dropped you in the middle of these strange woods. Ahead, you see a massive stone wall, one that stretches far above your head and a mile each way, and past it through colossal stone doors you see people and what looks like a housing development.

You open the journal and it’s completely empty, save for a message written on the inside of the cover, just for you:

We greatly appreciate your assistance in helping us find the Cure. The pain in your head will subside soon. We know you may be frightened, perhaps angry, but know that your sacrifice may save the lives of billions soon enough.

You are welcome to explore your new home. We ask that you stay within your commune at night before the doors close. Wandering subjects are difficult to observe and will be terminated from the study.

We look forward to monitoring your progress.

Remedium Clinical Specialists.

You might want to get in there and figure out what’s going on; you don’t know what happens when those doors decide to close.

Redemium is a survival panfandom RPG with a concentration on character and relationship development focused through both journal entry-style posts and written logs as well as via mod-initiated game-wide plots.

It was just like 100 years ago. No one knows exactly why or how this is happening. People, who claim to be from different worlds and have different lives, just suddenly started appearing. 100 years ago, the Titans appeared out of nowhere. No one remembers why or how they came to be. The Walls were constructed then to keep the Titans out and to protect humanity and we lived for nearly a century in peace.

Now, strange people, from strange worlds, are suddenly appearing. You find yourself in a world far different from your own or perhaps eerily similar, depending on the world from which you came. This is reality now. You live behind a city protected by three Walls: Maria, Rose and Sina. You are told not to go outside the Walls and that you cannot escape from this world, because this is all that is left of humanity.

Upon your arrival, you are greeted by a soldier. He seems a bit crazy, but he tells you that you have a choice to make now that you are here. You can choose to join the military or you can choose to live out your life here behind the walls. The technology of the world is not like modern technology. The most advanced vehicle is a horse-drawn wagon. Canons and guns exist, though they are limited in their resources. No television or movies are available. There are schools, bakeries, restaurants and other jobs available if you decide the normal life. Depending on where you are from, you are given a choice as to which wall you live within. If you choose to join the military, you are offered the option to attend cadet training.

You are informed that the top ten cadets of each class have the option to join the elite Military Police, those who work with the crown to keep the peace inside the walls. They live the furthest inside the city, thus the safest from the danger that exists outside the walls. This option is only open to the top ten cadets. The others have the choice of the Garrison Regiment, who will work to protect the citizens of the city, or the Scout Regiment, who set foot outside the Walls and work to take back lands already lost to our enemy. It's your choice what you do now that you are here.

Which option will you choose? What will be your fate?

Is there a way back to your world?

Holds are open today, June 25. Game will start July 9. We look forward to writing with you!

You awaken to the sweet smell of flowers and the tang of ocean salt in the air. The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day! You and your fellow arrivals have been chosen to create your own civilization on the island of Paradiso by the Powers That Be. You might feel just the slightest bit dizzy and fuzzy; your memories have been altered in such a fashion that you believe you've volunteered for this project. You'll arrive with the clothes on your back and whatever you happen to have on your person at the time; the first arrivals will also have a few helpful tools to start, but on the whole, your job on the island is to build your society from the ground up. Don't try calling out to friends and family — why would you? You've volunteered, so of course you've already let them know you'll be unavailable for the foreseeable future — because you're on a whole new planet. Good luck getting that cell phone to work.

While you're here, you'll be expected to build shelter for yourselves. You'll need to hunt, gather, or garden to acquire food and there are plenty of freshwater lakes on the island for water. If you want more than the outfit you're currently wearing, you'll have to make new clothes. You'll be living off the land. ...it might be easiest if you all work as a team.

No laws, no leaders, no religion; what kind of society will you help to build? Welcome to Paradiso. We're looking forward to seeing the new world as built up by you.

Paradiso is an oc-friendly panfandom game set in the middle of a social experiment being conducted by powers unknown in an attempt to re-establish civilization. Characters will be awaken on the island and will have no initial access to a steady food supply, electricity, hot water, or any other creature comforts; they will need to build, maintain, and expand their own working society with the supplies they can find and the skills they possess.

It is an adult-themed game that may have adult situations and occasional mod-prompted plots.

[info]cursedmods
you wake up...
Maybe you were just about to be crowned prom queen. Or maybe you were falling asleep in your boring physics class. Maybe you were wreaking havoc on a small town in Virginia. Maybe you were being attacked by walkers.

But now that life has been put on pause. Don't worry, you won't remember anything about your life before this moment anyway. Instead you are being brought to New Orleans, Louisiana where you will be given a new identity with new memories and dropped right into the middle of a brewing supernatural war.
welcome to new orleans.
Welcome to New Orleans. Never been here? It has the charm of Charleston, the rhythm of Memphis, and the anything goes attitude of key west. On second though, the best characterization of the city you now inhabit is to say New Orleans is like, New Orleans - and no place else on earth. Known for it's cuisine, jazz music and old world charm - people automatically tie it to Mardi Gras. However under all the party and the good eats, is a city filled with history, tales of voodoo and chaos. The best way to describe the city is by it's favored phrase: "Laissez Les Bonnes Temps Roulez" which means "Let the good times roll".
something wicked this way comes.
Deep in the heart of New Orleans, there exists a coven. Founded in 1694 by a group of witches who had escaped the Salem witch trials, over the centuries this coven has become deeply rooted in the history of New Orleans (even if most aren't aware of it), and specifically the French Quarter. In an attempt to blend in and hide their use of magic, the original leader -- Douglas Bailey -- acquired a storefront, and in the cellar they practiced. It began as a bakery, but as the shop was handed down from leader to leader (usually though the Bailey family itself), it became many things. Recently, in a parody of it's purpose, Hunter Bailey's grandmother made the space into a magic shop in the mid-1980's and it has stayed that way ever since.

The Bailey family has since the beginning proved themselves to be some of the strongest witches in the coven, and it is not surprising that because of this they have continued to lead the coven for more than three hundred years. The coven itself tends to stay within the confines of descendants of the original members, though every once in a while a new member may be allowed in. In recent decades, certain members have resented the Bailey family's monopoly over the coven and feel that it's time for a change. It hasn't helped that a few were not confident in Hunter's ability to lead in the wake of his grandmother's death. This has led to a split, with another faction forming to try and take over...
Are you ready to be cursed?

The Southern Crossing
Archipelago

Every world has a rift. Every individual has a moment when they are on the edge of that rift, at the doorway to another world. It all depends what you're thinking when it opens. "I'm going home!" or "Glad to be getting out of here!" or even simply "Got to go and..." ...and in the blink of an eye you have gone through the rift. But where to?

The Southern Crossing Archipelago is a group of islands that exists somewhere beneath the Southern Cross. Inhabited only by those who have been drawn through the rift, the islands appear to have been inhabited before, but there is no clue as to what happened to those previous residents. Or at least none that's been discovered, or obvious. Did a paradox inside the paradox cause the rift to reopen and take everyone home? Or is something more sinister responsible for their disappearance. There is much to be discovered!

The Southern Crossing RPG is a panfandom, OC-friendly game that is all about your muse/pup/character, writing, exploring character development, plots, plot arcs, and having fun with it! It's a game where all are able to be involved in helping discover the secrets of the Southern Cross archipelago, and have some fun along the way. We welcome plot ideas and suggestions, and give you the opportunity to develop and grow, even canon-update the pups you write (or scribe for!) plus so much more. Drop by and take a look to see if the rift could be opening a door somewhere near you!

The game rating is R+, therefore welcomes applications from players of mature nature, and at least 18yrs of age.

Breakwater Point has always been safe. It’s small. It’s lovely. It sits on the very edge of the Massachusetts coast, and its small harbor cradles a very old lighthouse, decommissioned in 1921.

Six years ago, the lighthouse began to flash. Then the monsters came.

This town isn’t safe anymore.

ApplyWorld InfoDirectory

The dark times are upon the human race in this world. The prophecy has started to take shape. Newcomers from all realities are landing in our world and only time will tell how they will change our fate. These strange visitors, these 'chosen ones' are figures from what was left of our pop culture-they are from books and movies, television and comics. We once thought they were fictional but have now realized that they simply existed in another place and another time from our reality.

Now it is up to them to decide whether they will help us or send us to our doom.

Reality Crisis is a multi-fandom game accepting most action/adventure, horror, fantasy, and sci-fi fandoms. We are currently kicking off a plotline that will resolve some of the issues faced by our heroes and create a new status quo. If you're looking for plot-centered RP with a small and dedicated group of writers, then this is the game for you.

Most wanted characters include (but are not limited to!): Lex Luthor from Smallville, Any DC comics (or movieverse, TV, etc) characters, especially: Green Arrow, Nightwing, Robin, Huntress, etc. Any Marvel Comicsverse or Movieverse characters, particularly Charles Xavier and Nick Fury, and Kevin, Bobby, Jo, Ellen, and John Winchester from Supernatural, as well as Buffyverse characters including (but not limited to) Angel, Cordelia and Gunn.

vas captio

The fading stench of sulfur still lingers in the air when you wake up, disoriented and groggy, situated in the middle of the woods near a dirt road that leads to a town in the distance. Sorry for the inconvenience, but you've caught the eye of the Management and they want the chance to study you in a controlled setting. All you can see (outside of a forest and the town in the distance) is a sign reading: "Welcome to Vas Captio."

Beside you is a small "survival kit" featuring the same logo on the sign. Those same two words in Latin: Vas Captio. Opening the kit, you see a wet pack of matches, a bottle of water, a journal with a pen taped to it, a squeaky dog toy, a nail file, and a compass...that only ever points North. What you do with these things and where you go from there is up to you.

Welcome to Vas Captio. You're on our time now, so sit back, try to relax, and just be yourself. That's why you're here, after all; we are very interested in studying you. But, then, you'll find that out soon enough on your own.

Vas Captio is a panfandom horror/survival game set in the middle of a social experiment being conducted by powers unknown. Characters will be awaken in the abandoned town enclosed by an impenetrable glass dome and will have no initial access to a steady food supply, electricity, hot water, or any other creature comforts; they will need to build their own working society with the supplies they can find and the skills they possess.

It is an adult-themed game with dark and mature situations and weekly mod-prompted plots. Enter at your own risk.

[info]beyondmidnight
BEYOND MIDNIGHT is a nightclub that caters to the most varied of tastes. Yes, there's a dance floor fueled by the best music to get people moving, and an expansive bar that seems to carry any beverage a person might ask for. Those generally aren't the main attractions though. That title is reserved for the action taking place on the stage when an unruly sub earns themselves a very public punishment, or the play rooms on the second floor where customers can indulge their wildest desires.

A fetish club with all the polish of the hippest nightclub, it's a place where people might cover their faces but they don't have to hide who they truly are. Within the walls of the club action must be consensual - no matter how much it might appear to the contrary. But outside of the club? Well, you're on your own there.

Beyond Midnight is a brand new mature panfandom game centered around a sex club and the mysterious island it's found on. Think of this as a place to let your adult characters have adult interactions which often aren't allowed or are highly restricted in other panfandom games.

I am badly in need of TSCC characters for my John Connor ([info]mankindsavior) to interact with over at the pan-fandom game [info]projectchaos. Multiples (as well as AUs and OCs) are allowed so don't let the taken list put you off.

A Cameron would be amazing for obvious reasons [possible relationship not required, I'd adore her for the character development alone] but I would honestly love to see anyone, be they ally or enemy. The future savior of mankind got himself killed (briefly) during an alien invasion plot while he was trying to save mankind not too long ago, so he could kind of use his canon-mates around to have his back.

Maybe you saw it in your dreams. Maybe you've seen something in the paper or heard the name in passing from a stranger. Whatever the reason, you can't help feeling drawn toward it. You don't know why, you just now you need to be there and once you're there, you'll never want to leave. Pack up your car, hop in your hovercraft, start walking, buy your plane ticket, or stick out your thumb...you're on your way. Time to start fresh. Find a job, make friends, get yourself a roommate; whatever you need or want to do. Welcome home. We're glad to have you.

TWO EXTREMELY WANTED CHARACTERS
at the panfan comm [info]f_rogers
ARTHUR - Ariadne needs Arthur there as a friend, both in her social life and as a colleague as dreamshare is (eventually) explored more. I'd be fine with or without a ship, so long as Ariadne's presence is addressed and she isn't ignored. I have an extended biography post for her here for anyone who would like to read my take on Ariadne. We also have an Eames and a Mal who would be thrilled to have Arthur around.
DOM COBB - All of Inception was Dom working toward moving past his mistake with Mal and the guilt eating away at him. Well, now Mallorie is here in the Land of Make Believe. It seems like his character development options would be endless and I know Mallorie wants him around.

The Last Resort panfandom rpg at Dreamwidth | now open!!

The Last Resort: A Panfandom Roleplaying Game

Premise
It could almost be a dream come true. You're standing there -- working, cooking, fighting wizards or vampires or zombies -- or maybe you're just asleep. It doesn't really matter what you're doing because you'll wind up at the same place anyway: on your back, waking up from a deep sleep you didn't know you were having, on an island far away from wherever and whenever you're from. And there's an envelope waiting for you with your name on it and a key to your very own room. It's almost like a free vacation that never ends. Not even if you want it to. The ultimate getaway. The last resort you'll ever visit.
