But you want to," she continued, her voice dropping slightly as she tilted her head. "Because you want me?" she asked softly as she closed her eyes and left her lips parted, inviting him to kiss her.
She shouldn't. Not with things so up in the air and confused. Not with the Slytherins (well, she assumed) attacking her in the hall. Not with James kissing her in the commons and accompanying her to Hogsmeade. Not with everything else going on.
