She wondered why the confusion wasn't lessening at all. Shouldn't it be all cut and dry? Sev was hanging out with bad people - people who very likely had landed her in the infirmary - and he was venturing down that path.
Friends or not - and really, how could she be friends with him, if he was going that way? - it wasn't a good association.
