"Not this time," she assured him. "It only happened the first time because I let my thoughts get away with me." She smiled. "Sometimes I wonder how all the thoughts I have can fit in my head, let alone run around inside it like they do."
She glanced over to him, studying him briefly before she returned her attention to her project.
"So, are you going to keep me company 'til I'm done so you can escort me upstairs and I won't have to fear attacks from the shadows tonight?"
The tone was teasing, but it hadn't been that long since she'd been in the infirmary.
