Her confidence faltered, doubt flickering over her features.
"I am uncertain," she admitted, "She isn't not with us, but she hasn't expressed a desire to go either way. Certainly, she's somewhat aware of your dealings through hearsay, but that is all it is. She knows, too, of my affiliation and the rigidity of it. It's possible she may have put more thought into it than she has shared with me recently."
She'd not be swayed if Narcissa chose a different path. Perhaps her back, even, would be turned upon the girl. It wouldn't be the first time she had shunned a family member.
