Olivia was nonplussed and she pushed from the wall herself, standing rather than crouching.
"Very gracious of you," she returned, managing to keep the irritation out of her voice, "I'm certain it will begin to crumble in your absence. Perhaps I'll just keep it warm until you return?"
Really, she had no intention of standing here against a wall waiting for anyone's return, but let him think that. Granted when he saw her in the commons later, he'd know she'd given it up as a bad job, but for the time being it would suffice.
