She leaned back a little, resting her head on the wall so her chin was slightly inclined and her eyes raised to the ceiling. She thought she could just make out his outline that way, but it could just as easily have been her imagination.
"So why aren't you gadding about with the other blokes you're usually with, then?" she asked, "Only it's just come to my attention that lurking in hallways isn't the most fun ever."
And besides that, he didn't seem to be paying much attention to her and that was irksome. It occurred to her vaguely that she was becoming rather spoiled.
