Her lips parted slightly, and she was aware that she was breathing a little more quickly than usual. Perhaps in response to the way her heart was jackrabbiting in her chest.
"Things like what, Severus?" she inquired, wide eyes darkening a little with the heightened emotions surging through her. No, she didn't need the clarification ... but she wanted to hear him say it.
Her hands moved a little, one pressing against the back of his shoulder while the other teased the hair at the back of his neck, stroking it, wrapping it around her finger, tugging just a little, lightly.
Part of her was alarmed, aware she was toeing a line, venturing into dangerous waters, but most of her was curious, intrigued, and very, very interested to see where this was headed.
