She hesitated. "I don't know," she finally admitted. "There's a situation, and I don't exactly know what to do about it," she began hesitantly.
She doubted she'd really get into it. Not even with Mary. Because no one understood. No one could understand. And really, she was probably reading entirely too much into it, anyway. So he'd spoken to her. So she could trust him. That didn't erase everything that had happened.
