"I'm not thick, Severus," she said defensively. "I know they aren't going to respond to a lecture." Honestly, she wasn't sure what she planned to do. She'd mostly been concerned with putting a name to the writing. So she could avoid them, she supposed or know what to look out for.
She lifted her eyes to him, her lips drawing into a thin line. "Nevermind then. Don't suppose I had any right to ask any favors of you anyway."
Reaching for her bookbag, she slid her book inside. "I just ... don't like not knowing," she admitted. "If it's a real threat or someone just fronting because they can hide behind the anonymity."
