Her grades to slip? Like he cared. Her eyes narrowed and her mouth tightened a little as she handed off her vial as well. She sincerley hoped that the professor wasn't going to hang around and chat any more, but he moved on to collect the other vials, or offer help to those lagging behind.
"Well, I appreciate your concern," she muttered as she turned to her table to begin cleaning up the remnants of her potion. "Misplaced as it may be. My grades are in no danger of slipping."
Her hands were shaking, she realized, and she scowled at herself. "Did you write it?" she found herself asking. Whether he lied or not, she didn't care, but she had to ask. To get the question out of her mind. "The one who didn't sign their name to that ... comment?"
She didn't look at him as he asked, studying instead the remainder of the potion in her cauldron. Her wand moved to clean up the debris left over from the potion making process as she waited to see what he had to say.
