He did manage to resist tagging a 'she's dead' onto the end of that statement, but it was a close thing. And he only stopped himself because he remembered that tht hadn't gone well in the last conversation he'd tried it in.
Leaning closer toward her and on the edge of his seat. "You didn't run into any strange creatures while you were in Germany, did you? Crumpled-Horned Snorkacks maybe?" he frowned. "Though nevermind - I'm pretty sure those are in Sweden."
He paused for a moment, thoughtful, before continuing. "If not the Snorkack, what was so special in Germany?" he asked curiously.
