Mary smiled back. "Fortunately no. I get enough of that when I'm at my Grandmother's. She is a fanatic for a shiny pane."
She took another bite of her licorice wand, making it shoot sparks as her teeth pulled at it.
"Maybe there's people on the train that ride back and forth just to clean the windows. Must be rather dull, if you ask me."
The train was leaving London proper, and she looked out and down into people's back gardens, thinking it would be lovely to live next to a train track, if a bit noisy. Nothing silencing charms wouldn't fix though. Still better to live next to the sea.
"So... are you ready for this year?" she asked, for lack of anything else better to say. "Have a good summer?"
