Re: Sirius, Remus (AND NOW JAMES!)
Remus Remus had smiled when he heard of what Mrs Potter tried to do to Sirius. He could just imagine the scene. Of course, Remus was also on the verge of telling Sirius that he quite liked Sirius' hair long like that. Personally, Remus thought Sirius was one of the few people cool enough to carry it off. But before he could do anything of the sort, however, the door to the train carriage they were sitting in slid open and a very enthusiastic James burst in.
Remus immediately found himself wrapped in a breath-denying hug from his other friend. Then, just as abruptly as it started, it stopped. Remus was still trying to formulate words.
Then James had moved on to Sirius. Something was definitely odd about James.
When Remus spoke again, the first thing out of his mouth was, "Are you drunk, James? Bit early for that, isn't it?" Not that Remus wasn't thrilled to see James, of course. He couldn't resist a fond smile even as he reminded James about drinking.
He threw Sirius a look, trying to catch his eye and mentally ask him if he knew James was drunk.
"If you are, you'd better sit here obediently," Remus helped James to his seat. "I promised Lily I would look after the two of you and make sure you don't do anything silly."
