Well, pretend he deserved manners. Whichever. "You aren't expecting anyone else, are you? Saving seats or the like?" She thought she'd seen a couple other compartments with his mates - or people he associated with, anyway - but she wasn't sure.
Crossing one leg over the other, she slipped a small book out of her robes - mostly so she'd have something to look at when the scenery got dull. She didn't open it yet, though she did keep an eye on the aisleway.
