Gilderoy
Black robes. How ... dull and depressing. He'd given some very serious consideration to wearing a sash or a scarf, but it was too hot for a scarf, and he didn't have any sashes.
He had made a note to remedy that, though.
Shuffling through the crowd, Gilderoy set his sights on people he was familiar with, hoping to find some friends to sit with.
Or at least, friendly people. People who hadn't known how much of nothing he'd been up to over the summer. People he could impress with stories of what he did (well, imagined he did, anyway) over the boring months between school sessions.
