Meli moved slowly across the platform, her head cocked curiously to one side. It was all well and good to have a task set before you. It was quite another to figure out how to accomplish the goal.
How was she supposed to recruit? It wasn't like she could go about inviting people into the Dark Lord's circle. Her parents had suggested just observing for now, and approaching anyone she was certain wouldn't turn out to be on the wrong side of things.
It seemed like a good idea. Just watching people. What circles they moved in, and who they fronted to.
At the moment, she didn't have any better plan.
Since there was time enough before the train left, Meli settled herself in a convenient place to watch the barrier where people came through from the Muggleside. Maybe she'd start with watching who sneered at the Muggleborns. They'd probably be good candidates.
