Lucius left Knockturn Alley, turning the corner onto the considerably busier sidewalks of Diagon Alley. Yet another disappointing meeting with Mr. Borgin, but perhaps he could soothe his spirits with a bit of shopping of a more light-hearted sort.
Unfortunately, it was that time of year again... students were responsible for the bulk of the crowd, and Lucius' nose crinkled as a couple pushed past him.
He ducked into the first shop that was easily accessible and straightened up his robes. Flourish and Blotts, he mused at the array of quills and parchment that was on display. He wasn't exactly in the market for new writing implements, but perhaps some of his former classmates would stop in. He couldn't pass up the opportunity, so he made a show of browsing the wares as he bided his time.
