3:53 pm [mtownmod]	Game start dates Hello everyone! Just to clarify, here are the dates we're looking at for game start. Today: starting some OOC introduction threads for your characters that can be tagged into until game start. Today through Sunday, May 2: We decided we wanted one full application period (a full hold plus a full extension) for people to apply through. That ends on May 2! We'll of course accept more characters after game start, but this is your deadline for being part of the main opening post. Monday, May 3: The game starts! It's like the grand opening of the town, with the Mayor making a speech and a party being thrown down at the town hall. We'll make a big open post so people can have their characters get to know one another. That being said, we the mods will have the following up for you in the mod journal before game start: 1) Posting and tagging rules: what goes where, how to tag it, what open posts are, etc. 2) NPC rules: how characters might become off-limits for apping. If that should happen, the list of off-limits characters will be here. 3) Plotting rules: what you do and don't need to discuss with the mods before running a plot Is there anything else you are curious about or might need? We're glad to try to provide some guidance now before game start. Have fun! And please feel free to promote the game on your journals, in comms, etc. We'd love a great variety of people here who might not necessarily play together otherwise. (Comment on this)
