WHO: Friends and family of nathani WHAT: Nathaniel Illidge's 29th birthday party WHEN: Around 9-10 pm PST (March 19th) WHERE: The Illidge residence
When the Illidge family (and their faux family member, Roxanna Sullivan) threw a party, there was almost a guarantee that something bizarre would end up happening. And as Roxie helped her good friend Raleigh set up for Nathan's birthday party, she could not help but laugh as she imagined the millions of possibilities.
There were no real decorations other than a couple of tiki torches scattered throughout the backyard, surrounding the patio, where a grill was fired up to cook burgers and hot dogs (the one thing the birthday boy was actually lifting a finger to help wtih). As the perfectionist Roxie surveyed the house, she made sure that the Rock Band set up in the living room was solid and that any amount of tugging would not result in the complete destruction of the Wii. She continued through the kitchen and made sure there were enough plates and cups out for party-goers to go hog wild with food and drinks. There were plenty of chips and dip as well as a vegetable tray and the buns for both meats cooking on the grill waiting for anyone who wanted it. As well as the keg that was going to be put in the backyard when either Nathan's brother or cousin arrived with it, there was plenty of soda available for the taking.
The music, currently playing one of the rock radio stations, was already blaring, and Roxie had a feeling the neighbors (who had called the police on them the last time they were together) were not too happy about that. She shrugged that thought of her head as she fixed herself a cup of water and stole a chip out of the bowl on the counter.
She did a spin around the counter before strolling out into the backyard, where most of the family and anyone who had arrived early was camped. Bopping her head to the music, she leaned up against the frame of the sliding doors and crossed an arm over her chest, drink still in hand.
