When Cam originally thought of the idea for the concert, he never imagined that it would get this big. When Emmett had went looking for a venue, he never imagined they'd be able to fill one completely, considering he only had two confirmed bands at the time. The support had been overwhelming and this project was something that he was rather proud to be a part of. All sorts of people were flying in and taking time out of their schedule to try to raise money for what he viewed as an amazing charity. It was crazy to look back two days ago to what he was thinking would be a humble show, only to find that people he really admired would be there as well.
The concert was all decked out. There were merch tables for their t-shirt, courtesy of the amazing Dori Prout. There was catering backstage, which consisted of enough food to feed all the performing artists, appearing celebrities and anyone else that was helping out with the event. The stage was all set up for an acoustic performance, something that Emmett had noted would make setting up easier.
When Cam got to the venue two hours before show time the line was already rather long, stretching down the street and around the corner. He knew the show was going to be packed, something that made him absolutely nervous. He wouldn't just be playing for his fans, or fans of a similar music style - he'd be playing for a bunch of people with varying music tastes. It was something he liked about shows like these, but also hated come performance time.
Cam fluttered around the venue at first, mostly double checking over everything and confirming things. Before long he was wandering around the venue to talk to people as they arrived.
