Despite already having decided to join, Marco slowly nodded in agreement to Owen's points. He trusted that when Owen said not too far, he meant it in an agreeable way, and not just going by what wasn't too far for him specifically. Not too far was about all Marco felt like he could do for the moment, so as long as he didn't frustrate Owen somehow they'd be okay.
"I don't know if we have fireflies in California," he admitted, suddenly a little excited that he'd probably get to see some that night. "But how hard can it be to catch bugs? Ladybugs and butterflies will crawl all over you if you give them the chance, and also I have this small net," he held up his small net, "so we've basically already won, I think." He smirked and shrugged, mostly kidding, though he didn't really think it would be a challenge. Then again, he had no idea where They might release a bunch of bugs. Maybe they wouldn't be close at all.
