"Can you use ladybugs as bait?" Kiley asked, hurrying after a cricket she saw jumping a few feet ahead of her. "Crickets, I would think, but the other bugs?" She didn't want to wake up covered in creepy crawlies either but she would rather deal with fireflies and ladybugs than spiders and silverfish and all those nasty looking things. She kept her eyes open for the cricket, sure that it would jump again at any moment. "You know, I kind of hope the bugs stay out after dark. It would be nice to sit outside on the porch and listen to the crickets, right? And maybe watching the fireflies light up. It's been weird without those kind of things around, you know?"
