Nodding a thank you for the door holding, Pam followed Felix outside. She was excited to talk about herself and animals, and if she could somehow fit Fletcher in there she'd have the Pam Trifecta. She didn't even care why he was asking, it was just nice to be able to ramble for a second.
"I was basically always into it, yeah," she explained, nodding up at Felix before keeping her gaze down, on the lookout for bugs in the grass. "My mom breeds golden retrievers, so like, it was always helpful to know dog stuff, and then, like, I was obsessed with Zoobooks? You know, from the commercials? My parents got me all of them, and then I'd go through mom's Pet Fancy magazines, and I started trying to adopt local baby ducks every year when they came through our yard, or squirrels or turtles, or a fox once... Anyway. It was just something I never grew out of, right? So then I was going to be a vet, but like, I also wanted to get married around that time," trifecta achieved, "and so I ended up just becoming a tech instead of a full vet because school was a lot and I figured I could just chip at that degree slowly and work at the same time. But then I just didn't because I liked my job. I could probably go back to that if we ever get out of here, but I've been thinking less about that and more about family starting stuff. Which, like, that's a lot to think about! Especially when I've been kidnapped for months! But I want a chubby baby!" She laughed, again maybe just a little too hard, knowing that that was probably a weird thing to tell Felix, but she was talking about herself, so oh well. "Is Shark your first bunny?"
