Pam made a face and shook her head. "Honestly I'm glad it's not ants. Like, I know that that would be easier, but like, eww. Also I don't think most of these bugs are bitey, and ants are, like, too bitey."
She was about to suggest where they might look when Felix was suddenly pointing. "Oh my god, did you say flutterby? That's so cute," she cooed as she picked up her little net again. She popped up, quickly moving towards, then out the door so she could swing the net at the butterfly. But the bug moved before she could capture it, and she took another swing at it with the same results. She tried three more times, each time missing the bug as it flew to a new spot on the screen until she found herself jumping on her tip-toes, trying to catch the butterfly that was now just a little too high for her. It took another moment before she stopped, sighing as she looked at Felix through the screen. "How tall are-- You know what, I'll just try again later." She shielded her eyes from the sun as she glanced up at the bug again, then moved back towards the door. "I feel like it makes sense to go towards water? But, like, none of these are really water bugs, so maybe a certain type of tree or something. I don't really know! If you want, we can, like, look together? After you finish your cereal, of course." She hadn't really expected that she'd be asking Felix to join her today, but he was here, and didn't seem completely uninterested, and it was better than wandering on her own. It wasn't like she didn't like Felix anyway, they just hadn't really spent all that much time together.
