As they started descending the stairs Tasiya remembered Tyra having said something about snow. Now, she had seen snow before, having lived all around the continental United States, but she had been in California long enough to have lost any kind of resistance to it, not to mention that a tracksuit and flip-flops weren't at all snow appropriate. When they got to the younger girl and she voiced her surprise, Tasiya snorted. "That's too bad. I wonder who'll die first, him out there alone or me surrounded by people but not shoes."
Tyra's diatribe that interrupted itself managed make her exhale with mild exasperation. "Dude. Maintain. Anyway this place is great let's see about the... grounds?"
She was done arguing about their status as kidnap victims at this point, though. Apparently bad things had to look bad all over at all times or something. Tasiya approached the door and opened it, getting promptly slapped by a gust of frosty breeze. "Well, the grounds are definitely cold! Jesus that's bright."
Holding the door open, Tasiya motioned for the others with an over-exaggerated bow. Really she wanted to delay contact with the frozen ground for as long as possible. "After you and such."
