Knowing one of those monsters had probably been in the house made Tobias's skin crawl and he was trying not to fidget too impatiently. What if it was watching them now? Or in someone else's bedroom, listening, getting ready to come downstairs and attack? He had the thought that it probably would have gone for Chase while he was upstairs, but rationally thinking wasn't really helping much right now.
"I don't know how far they are," Owen said, glancing back down at his phone. I can ask her whereabouts they are and we can decide then. If you want to hunker down at the mill, we can do that too, but we're only as safe as what we can do to protect the perimeter of the building. But we're going to have to decide if we want strength in numbers, or if it's safer to stay spread out."
