Tobias nodded, more than willing to go along with whatever Chase wanted. It was hard for him to figure out what they should all do, but he liked to think once they had supplies and a more concrete plan, he could contribute better.
"Maybe our phones are inside," Tobias said with a hopeful look. "If not, then the laptop would be awesome." Of course, if they could get the network, it didn't make it very useful unless someone had their phone and could communicate with them. But anything was better than nothing at this point.
Tobias took the axe from Chase, hefting it carefully before tightening his grip. It made him feel safer to have it. "That's good though, right? If someone was already here... that means they've gotten some stuff to keep them safe too. Or maybe They moved all the good stuff inside." He was more than willing to go in through the utility room and get into the kitchen. He was still feeling nervous but also hungry and he wanted to make sure they grabbed some food to take with them.
