Chase carefully helped Tobias light his own match, then used the light to look around quickly for something, anything he could use as a weapon that was nearby. He settled for a couple of relatively heavy rocks, in lieu of a convenient stick, shoving a couple into his pocket. When his hand was free again, he wrapped his arm around Tobias in a quick half hug now that he could see him, then moved to follow Owen.
"My gun is in my room," Chase replied quietly, watching his steps. He'd nearly left it out on the porch in case one of the people staying out there needed to use it, but he couldn't bring himself to part with it. "It's right by the door, so if I can get upstairs it'll be a really quick grab." He had other stuff that might be useful, but if they were in a rush the last thing he wanted was to spend any more time packing things up. The gun, and maybe another lighter, and some of the scrap cloth, if no one else had grabbed it. "I can go there first really quick then meet you guys back downstairs?"
