Still trying to catch his breath, Edwin raised his sword again, turning it a little to show it off. "It was a Christmas gift. Gryffindor's sword. I do sword stuff." Later he'd explain his fencing experience, and why it felt right to bring along a sword, but for now he was nervously taking a step back, trying to spot the thing. Maybe it hadn't seen him dart out of the barn. Maybe it'd stay on the other side of the barn. "Do we not know what's happening?"
"They want us to avoid all the monsters all night, I guess?" Pam said, stepping back towards the table so she could grab the phone with the case that she thought was most likely Edwin's, though he shook his head when she held it up to him. She seemed to get it right on her second guess. "They said there's only two, but like, that's still scary."
