Pam watched Felix between a few panicky glances at the surrounding area, frowning as he cut himself off and seemingly just think to himself. She decided that, and really just the act of having to jump out a window to avoid a monster, was deserving of a hug, and she quickly leaned in to give him a little half-hug, not fully pulling him in just because her clothes were still wet.
"Okay. Well. This is all horrifying," she said after a moment, "and if we can't just stay here because everything is terrible, then I at least want to go inside and grab my crossbow and some protein and some dry clothes, because all of those things seem important if I have to be out here all night. Did anyone, like, actually test those tents? We have supposedly monster-proof tents, so like, we should check for those, I think, but like I really want that crossbow. Would you watch my back if I watch yours? And we can see if, like, anyone else is here or whatever? Is that okay?"
