Chase wasn't going to deny it, even with the promise that Pam would fulfill the items for Lennon and Tobias, he was nervous. It wasn't that he didn't think that Pam would follow through, she would, but the idea that he'd be giving up everything else on that list, even if a lot of it was selfish, did irk a little. On the other side, more money meant he'd be able to expand who he wanted to get things for, and if he lost at least he knew Pam would do right by the cats. So, that was something.
It was a short walk to Pam's door from the room he shared with Kiley, but somewhere along the way he realized there was a fluffy shadow tailing him, and the headbutt against his calf signaled exactly who it was a second later.
"You wanna go see Pam?" he asked Minion, sidestepping as the cat scampered between his legs to head down the hall, but pausing at the corner when he seemingly realized his human wasn't heading towards the stairs, and likely breakfast. "No, you already ate," Chase reminded him before he tapped his knuckles against Pam's door. "Let's go see Pam," he added one more time, snapping his fingers gently until the feline casually trotted back towards him, resuming his scent bath against his leg. That certainly did help his nerves.
