While Chase began to type out a message on his phone, Lucy took just a step back and surveyed the area through the sight of her paintball gun. She was confident for a moment that no one was around, but she made an effort to be vigilant enough for the two of them.
“Yeah,” Lucy said softly, the only thing that she knew about Juno were the stories that Marco had told her, which honestly wasn’t much. Still, it made her sad to realize that so many people had gotten close and then pulled away. “Juno always sounds so nice. I bet I would have liked her.”
