"Fuck, that sucks," Felix replied, his voice a little less tense than a second ago, though he could still feel his heart thrumming away in his chest. He raised his gun to the side to show that he didn't intend to shoot again, and then raised his other hand to indicate the bank. "You might want to back up into the trees a little bit." He gestured to how he was positioned on the edge of the treeline. "If anybody pops out onto the bank on either side of you a ways down the river you're kind of a fish in a barrel right now. Are you okay? I didn't think you were gonna drop like that. I've never played with this shit before."
