Tobias didn't know if the 'thank you' was sincere or not, but it sounded genuine enough. It helped Tobias relax a little and his finger loosened on the paintball gun trigger. Sighing, he finally stretched out his legs, since they were getting sore being drawn up to his chest for so long. His arm was sort of falling asleep too.
"Apparently everyone picked me for that survey thing... the jail question. So they handcuffed me to a tree as my reward. Punishment. I don't know, they're the same thing at this point. They put the key far enough away that I can't reach it on my own. And... they obviously placed my friends far away and you the closest so you'd find me first, right?"
