Unable to help himself, Tobias barked out a laugh. It sounded wrong in his ears, but he couldn't help it. "You have to watch your back? Are you kidding me?" Tobias tugged at his cuffed hand, wishing it would magically unlock so he could just take off and find his friends. This wasn't fun. Why couldn't someone else be nearby? He'd even take Pam right now. She would probably shoot him, but he knew she'd get him the key too.
"I have vague memories of when you came into my room and choked me, but I can see how you might've forgotten." His heart was beating faster in his chest, the anxiety rising to where his hands were starting to feel shaky and sweaty. "And you're dad's not dead... unless you think Lila was lying.
